Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a reservation?+
Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome when seats are available. Fridays, Saturdays, and evenings before public holidays fill quickly — booking via LINE or phone is advised.
Can I come alone?+
Solo guests are always welcome. Counter seating is available and the atmosphere naturally brings people together. You can sing as much or as little as you like, or simply enjoy the live music.
What is the maximum group size?+
Standard seating accommodates up to 40 guests. Private hire is available for up to 35 guests. For large parties, please get in touch via LINE to confirm availability and layout.
How much does it cost?+
The standard plan is ¥3,000 per hour (cover charge included). The all-you-can-drink plan is ¥5,000 per hour. Private hire starts from ¥150,000 for 2 hours with a minimum of 15 guests. See the PRICE section for full details.
Do I need to play an instrument?+
No instrument experience is needed at all. The professional band handles everything — you just sing along to your favourite songs. The band makes anyone sound great.
What are your opening hours?+
UTAIBA is open Monday through Saturday, 20:00–05:00. Closed on Sundays and public holidays. We are a 3-minute walk from Roppongi Station.
